The 2026 MIFF
October 15th-17th
The festival is over for 2026, what fun we had! 63 accepted short films from all over the world in many genre’s. We also introduced a new category, Space Themed Films, and watched some very entertaining shorts and documentaries in that “space’ (sorry). Our young filmmakers blocks have taken off as well. It’s wonderful to mentor and watch these kids make their own films and show on the big screen. Thanks to all our volunteers and patrons. And to No Limits Academy for all they do for our disabled and challenged community.
So hang in there and watch for our submissions notification in January for the next season of the MIFF. Guaranteed to excite, astound and amaze with great films from talented filmmakers. See you in 2027!
The MIFF is a short film festival with a Saturday Matinee segment showcasing films made in Florida.
Great fun at the after- party at Hemingway’s Courtyard!
The Space Coast Film Commission invites you to make your next great movie here, we have it all!
